Dear Family and friends,

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness, I write to tell you that our dearest LaVerne Marie Cheney, passed away July 17, 2025. LaVerne was an amazing sister, mother, aunt, grandma, great grandma, cousin, and friend, and she touched so many lives of people around her. Her kindness, humor, strength, and joy for life have a lasting impact, and we will miss her every day. This is a very sad and difficult moment for my family right now, and we are all heartbroken over LaVerne's passing and unprepared for the expenses of a cremation and celebration of life.

We want to give my mother LaVerne a respectful service she deserves that celebrates who she was and how much she was loved. However, the cost of the cremation and other funeral-related expenses has created a financial challenge.

To help cover the cost, we have started a GoFundMe. Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean so much to us. This will help with the cremation, flowers, food, balloons, place of celebration, and any other expenses.
