Hello, my name is Richard Jackson. I'm here today needing and wondering if there is anybody out here that would be able to help support my mother, Josephine Lucas. She died of cancer of small cell carcinoma. The cancer affected her liver and everything else through her body spread. She was a great woman, a good mother, a good cook, a good wife, but for the most part, she was a well-known good friend of everybody's. So please, I'm begging you. It doesn't have to be much; anything would help. Her wishes are to be cremated, but I, myself, and my family are struggling because it's hard times we have had lately. We're trying to get the money so she can be cremated and also so we can have a showing. So anybody and everybody can get one last time to say goodbye and give her wish to see all the family and friends before she gets cremated. It's sad that she had to go, but she's not in pain anymore, and she will be missed and always will be loved. She is now with the Lord Jesus Christ. She lived a good life and struggled through a lot of it, though. But she always managed to keep a smile on her face and hide all her pain. She always loved everybody and always thought the best of everybody, no matter who you were, no matter what color you were. She was a great woman. I'm sorry for asking, and I'm not begging, but please, out of respect for the family, we appreciate any help we can get to support the arrangements so that we can afford to pay the expenses of the funeral and the showing. If you can't, it's okay; we still love you no matter what. Just the thought of you trying to help means a lot to us and my mother. She would be devastated and happy if anybody helps, but we know from our hearts that she is loved, and we will get this. Thank you for all your support.
