On June 30th, my warm-hearted and incredible mother, Sheryl Ray passed away unexpectedly after a short but courageous battle with cancer. My mom fought with everything she had—full of grace, and unwavering strength. Her passing was untimely and unexpected, and she will be deeply missed. Even in her final days, she taught me how to be strong. Her love continues to give me the heart and strength to face whatever life brings. I am endlessly proud to be her son.

We want to give her the meaningful, love-filled goodbye she deserves—surrounded by close friends and family in a small and intimate Celebration of Life. In true “Mom” fashion, the gathering will be potluck-style, just as she would have wanted. Every chance she had to get together with family, she would be the first to ask, “Is there something I can bring?”—always showing up with something in hand and love in her heart.

While cremation has already been handled, there are still some remaining expenses: urns for family, flowers, and the cost of organizing the celebration—as well as a few outstanding bills. If anyone feels moved to help during this time, your support would mean the world. Whether through contributions, lending a hand, or simply showing up to honor her memory.
