In Loving Memory of Ferdinand Tumacder Luis Sr.
Our family is hoping to raise funds to help ease the costs of funeral, burial, and support arrangements for our beloved husband and father, Ferdinand Tumacder Luis Sr., who peacefully passed on June 9, 2025, following an unexpected and heartbreaking medical emergency.
In lieu of flowers If you feel moved to support, please consider donating below. Any gift, no matter the size, means the world to us. Any remaining funds will be donated to charity in his name.
Just days before his passing, Dad was diagnosed with stage 2 stomach cancer. He was hospitalized on June 2 and underwent a successful, complication-free gastric bypass surgery on June 4 to help him regain strength and begin chemotherapy and immunotherapy in his fight against cancer. We were preparing to bring him home that weekend—but before we could, his condition took a sudden and devastating turn.
On the morning of June 5, his body experienced a severe reaction—believed to be caused by an unknown drug allergy—that led to multiple cardiac events. Sadly he was unable to recover, the brain damage he sustained was profound and irreversible. He was declared brain dead on June 8, and with love and prayer, we made the heartbreaking decision to remove life support on June 9.
Dad was a loving, humble, God-fearing man who lived fully for his family. He exuded warmth, love, and laughter in everything he did. We will always remember him with a smile on his face, a karaoke mic in one hand, a glass of scotch in the other, and a belly full of BBQ—surrounded by the people he loved most.
