Dontavious faced many challenges in his journey, including a battle with schizophrenia and depression. Though he fought bravely, his struggles ultimately became too heavy to bear. Dontavious was a beautiful soul with a heart full of love and a mind full of ideas. He was smart, kind, and very giving; even while quietly carrying the weight of his own pain. His struggles were real and complex, but they never dimmed the light he brought to others. As we mourn this heartbreaking loss, we are asking for support to help give Dontavious the peaceful and dignified homegoing he deserves.
