anyone who knew des knew she was the most selfless person ever. she cared about others before herself and was always willing to help. she was kind, smart, and incredibly creative. des was many things to many people, but to us she was an angel on earth.

her greatest joys…

her nieces and nephew, along with many others, had the privilege of being in her presence and loving des the way she deserved to be loved.

des was remarkably strong throughout her short and tough battle with cancer. she felt her pain was an inconvenience to others and even in her toughest moments she managed to crack a joke and bring a smile to our faces.

des gave us the most beautiful memories and we’ll cherish those for eternity.
