Help Us Honor the Life of Our Beloved Father, Grandfather, and Patriarch.
With heavy hearts, we share that on 11-12-25, our dad, Casimiro Valdivia, passed away at the age of 83 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
To know Casimiro was to love him. For 50 years, he was the devoted husband to our mom, the proud father, the adoring grandfather to his grandchildren, the joyful tata to great-grandchildren, and even the beaming bisabuelo to great-great-grandchildren. Five generations looked to him with love and admiration.
A lifelong man of deep Catholic faith, Casimiro prayed the Rosary daily and lived the Gospel through quiet acts of kindness and generosity. He taught us that family and faith come first, always.
Casimiro bled Dodger blue. No matter where life took him, every summer night you could find him glued to the TV cheering on his beloved Los Angeles Dodgers with the same passion he had since he was a boy.
For decades, he proudly served the people of Mexico in various roles within the government, working with integrity and dedication to make his community and country better. He was respected by colleagues and never forgot where he came from.
Now, as we prepare to lay him to rest with the full Catholic funeral Mass he would have wanted, we are humbly asking for your help. The medical bills from his final months of treatment, combined with the unexpected costs of giving him the beautiful send-off he deserves, have been overwhelming.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us cover:
Funeral and burial expenses
Outstanding medical costs
A memorial Mass and reception so the entire family can gather and celebrate his incredible life
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign or keeping our family in your prayers. Casimiro always said a prayer was worth more than gold.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Casimiro lived a full, beautiful life surrounded by love, and we want nothing more than to honor him the way he honored all of us every single day.
Con todo nuestro cariño,
The Family of Casimiro
Forever Dodger fans and forever proud of our old man. ️⚾
