Hello everyone, this has to be one of the hardest things my family has ever gone through. God called upon my father, Carlos Ruiz, to join him up in heaven. He fought a long, hard battle with cancer. I don't really have the words to describe what we are all feeling; he was the leader, our "rock" of the family. We are trying our best to be strong and find comfort in the fact that he is no longer in pain and he was surrounded by people who he loved and love him.

We are working to get all things in order and want to do our best to give him the ceremony he deserved. He is loved by so many people and so many have asked how they can help or be there for our family. So this is what we could think of for those of you wanting to show your support.

We thank you all for reaching out with such kind words and letting us know how he touched each of your lives.
