In Loving Memory of Cameron Trevino

June 25, 2001 – July 12, 2025

With heavy hearts, we are reaching out to our community for love, support, and help as we prepare to lay our beloved brother, son, and friend, Cameron Trevino, to rest.

Cameron was just 24 years old when he lost his long, courageous battle with mental health on July 12, 2025. Despite facing incredible hardships — including growing up away from his family in the foster system — Cameron never stopped loving fiercely, smiling brightly, and showing up for others with an open heart.

He had a rare gift: the ability to love unconditionally. No matter who you were or what you’d been through, Cameron made you feel seen. He was joyful, kind, and always had a way of making people laugh — even on their darkest days.

Cameron is survived by:

His loving mother, Jeana Trevino (45)

His stepfather, Wendell Adkins (60)

His brothers: River George (28), Timothy Trevino (22), and Luke Owens (19)

His sisters: Ocean George (26) and Shawneece Adkins (28)

His nephews: Carter Lail (7) and Sterling Taylor (8 months)

His Papa Lloyd Davis (78)

Many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins

And foster families who loved him dearly and made a lasting impact on his life

Cameron now joins his father, Tomas Trevino, in Heaven — along with his grandmothers and many more family members who went before him. We find comfort in knowing he is finally at peace.

We want to honor Cameron’s life the way he deserves. Our goal is to give him a beautiful Celebration of Life and lay his ashes to rest at New Energy Church in Belot, Texas, near the place where we shared some of our most cherished childhood memories.

️ The Celebration of Life will take place on July 26, 2025
MCcown valley park Whitney TX.
⏰ Exact time to be announced soon.
Bring something to get wet in because Cameron would have wanted us to enjoy this time together we will be having a huge water balloon fight.

Any donation, no matter the amount, will help us provide the service, cremation, and burial expenses necessary to honor Cameron’s life and legacy. Even if you cannot give, we ask that you please share this page and keep our family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

If you would prefer to donate directly toward Cameron's cremation, you may contact:
Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian, Texas

We love you forever, Cameron. Thank you for loving us — even through your pain. We trust that your battle is over now, and we’ll hold on to the promise that peace and healing await us all in time.

And through it all, I thank my Heavenly Father — even for the suffering — because I know the battle has already been won.

With love and gratitude,
Ocean George & Family
