Help us catch up from pandemic loss

Times are hard.

We all have experienced hardship and loss during this pandemic. The first loss that we felt was income. I was working as a freelancer, and almost overnight my clientele dried up. I began looking for work right away, and we did receive a stimulus check which enabled us to live while I was looking.

Eventually, I did find work, but the hourly pay was less than what I was making as a freelancer. Thanks to the governor's memorandum, we didn't have to worry about rent as it was deferred. We were able to keep up on our other bills, but rent was too much of a stretch.

Now, we are faced with back rent that we need to come up with before the end of the year. I am planning to go to school for the first time in January, and it looks like we will be covered with scholarships and financial aid so we can live while I'm at school. I'm also going to work part-time to help. We just need help catching up so we can stay housed until then.

Any funds raised are going directly towards rent. This is the need we have, and this is all the funds will be used for.
