Hi everyone, my name is Jessica Robles, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer about a year ago. Being a 27 years old, with 3 beautiful children ranging from 2 years to 10 years, it was unexpected. After my oncologist practically gave me no hope of ever beating cancer, I honestly closed down to the world and did not tell anyone about my diagnoses. I was scared, angry, but I was prepared to not stop fighting. I had major surgery on June 10, 2022, removing part of my colon and one of my ovaries; then I started chemo right after. On top of all that, my husband had to take time off from work to help me mainly and take care of the kids. During this time we got behind in all of our bills. My husband started to buy natural medicine plus supplements and changed my diet. I finished my chemo in December, which was a HUGE victory for me. The fight was still not over unfortunately; I had to have another surgery in February after my surgeon found some spots that he wanted to remove. So, on February 7, I had another surgery removing a part of my small intestine, and they also put heated chemo on my stomach to stop further spreading or the cancer .
I have started a small business in hopes to help my family, but I have come to the conclusion that I need more time to heal emotionally and physically. On top of medical bills, medication that I needed to buy, we are asking for help from friends and family, to help us get back on track with our bills. Thank You all and God bless you guys.
