I just wanted to thank all those who have donated towards Roxy’s eye surgeries. Unfortunately, it’s looking like the other one is going to come out. We are going to make a decision tomorrow. At this point it looks like she has lost the vision in the eye. I was hoping that we would’ve been able to save it with drops and care, but it just isn’t responding well to any of it. I tried to get her in with the ophthalmologist, but they cannot get her in until next month and likely they will just say the same thing at this point. Again, thank you to all who donated and paid for her first surgery which was $2000. The second one will be another $2000. After Ruperts I was $3500 I appreciate all your help and all these little senior dogs due to thank you from the bottom of my heart

I wanted to give everyone a new update. Unfortunately it’s looking like Roxy will need the other eye removed sometime soon. This is something that sometimes happens especially in dogs her age. thank you to everyone who donated. You all raised about 80% of Roxy’s last minute eye removal. Roxy had her surgery and is doing well. She will be getting her stitches out this weekend if all looks good. Buddy is also doing well. His cough has settled and he is still his happy self. Next on the list will be getting Christin and the Potato neutered now that they’re healthy as well as getting our little slender man in for a checkup. Unfortunately, he’s in rough shape and I don’t know if he can have dental work done yet, but we will see Again thanks to everyone

. As many of you know, I adopt senior and special needs dogs and make sure they are loved and cared for until the very end.

This last year, there were multiple ER visits, and it maxed me out. Today we are heading to the vet to chat with them about scheduling another dog's eye removal. We adopted Roxy about 2 years ago after her human passed, and the family member who took her was having major health issues.

Buddy is also going to the vet today to talk to them about his collapsing trachea. Mudslide will be next to get his teeth checked, as he may need a couple pulled.

For the first time, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. I feel like I get ahead and then another ER visit happens. My CareCredit is maxed and credit cards are getting close. I feel like I get a little bit ahead and then something major happens again. I lost a couple of my daily jobs due to the pet passing, which was a large part of my weekly income. If you'd like to donate, the pups and I will be so grateful.
