Help Us Care for Our Mother in Her Final Days

Hi, my name is Becky — and with a heavy heart, I am asking for support for my family during one of the most difficult seasons of our lives.

Our mom has been placed on hospice. We are doing everything we can to make sure she is surrounded by love, comfort, and familiar faces every single day. My sister and I have taken time off work to be by her side — to hold her hand, to make her smile through the pain, and to ensure she doesn’t have to face any of this alone. I am also on short term leave for Covid brain fog issues that I am dealing with as well.

This time is precious. It is something we will never get back.

But with both of us unable to work full-time, the financial burden has become overwhelming. Melissa lost her job a month ago due to downsizing in the company. We are struggling to keep up with bills, day-to-day necessities & the holidays are upon us too. We most importantly want to be present with our mom in her final moments.

We never imagined we would be in this situation. We are not asking for luxury… only help to keep going during a heartbreaking time. Any support — whether it’s $5 or a prayer — means more than we could ever express.

Your kindness will allow us to continue caring for our mom with dignity, love, and peace… without choosing between a paycheck or her bedside.
