Help Us Care for My Wife

Donation protected
Since the birth of our child, my wife's health has been on a steady decline. About two summers ago, she began experiencing severe fatigue and weakness, making even the simplest daily tasks a struggle. Despite this, she pushed through with incredible determination.

Then in November 2024, things took a serious turn. She began developing neuropathy (extreme nerve pain and loss of function) without a known cause. It started in her feet and has now spread throughout most of her body. She now requires assistance with basic needs, including using the bathroom and rolling over in bed. Doctors are still searching for answers, even just for treatment, but in the meantime, her condition continues to worsen, and our lives have changed drastically.

We’re in the process of applying for disability support, but as many know, that can be a slow and uncertain road. One of our biggest challenges is financial: my wife was contributing two-thirds of our household income before she became ill. Losing that support so suddenly has placed an immense strain on our family.

I’ve always prided myself on being able to take care of things, and asking for help is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. But right now, I’m at a point where I need to. We’re trying to raise funds to pay off ever-growing medical bills and acquiring the medical equipment necessary for home care. Doing so would remove one of our biggest financial burdens and help us stay afloat as we navigate her care needs, medical expenses, accessibility modifications to our house, and the long road ahead.

If you’re able to help by donating and sharing our story, it would mean the world to us. Every bit of support helps us move one step closer to stability, security, and hope for our family.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Update as of 7 July '25:
In June, we went to a large hospital to receive diagnosis of Functional Neurological Disorder. During her visit there, she developed pneumonia and has been in the hospital since. While today she is slowly recovering from the pneumonia, she's still on oxygen and feeding tube, and the cause of the pneumonia is still unknown. Doctors believe they've narrowed down the category to interstitial lung disease and are still waiting on test results to confirm specifics.
