Help Us Care for Harlen's Emergency Surgery

Hey everyone!

Over the weekend (Sep 27-29th) our poor baby Harlen had to undergo surgery.

At some point in the month, he had gotten a hold of one of his toys in which a rubber part broke off.

Being the cat that he is, he ate that part and it was stuck in his intestines with no way of throwing it up or passing it through his poop.

On the day of Sep 27th, he was throwing up multiple times and not acting like his crazy usual self. We had decided to take him to the ER for evaluation.

The doctors had concluded it was a Foreign Body Blockage that was only able to be removed via surgery. Any other option would have definitely killed him due to his inability to pass the foreign body.

We immediately went through to the surgery in order to save our boy.

We went through with the surgery knowing about our own personal financial hardships as well as our own (naive) choice to not get pet insurance ahead of time.

With that, the total of the emergency visit (as expected) came out to be a wild $8750, far beyond our own capacity to handle on our own (even with monthly payments)

That is why we are asking for help!

While both Megan and I are doing our absolute best to handle the bill on our own, it would absolutely help us a ton with some donations.

Anything would help! Even if the goal isn't 100% met, the aid from donors would still put far less strain on us as a family than to tackle the bills alone.
