Hi!

My name is Luana. I am a mama of 3 small children who cares about people and animals. My partner, Tony, and I have fostered many strays over the years, and all of our dogs have been rescues we literally got from the street.

Today, we only have one dog, a rescue named Smokey. He managed to escape the yard and got with a female stray that had been roaming our block for a few days. She was in heat. She got pregnant.

Now we have gotten her into our yard, and she is getting very close to birth. We are working on building trust with her as she is very wary of people. She has a long scar on the back of her neck, which we assume was an injury from an embedded collar or something of that nature. She has her reasons to not trust people, and we want to help her and the puppies find good homes in the future.

For now, we really, REALLY, need help to be able to afford the supplies and medical care needed for them during the whelping season. Can you please help us?
