hey friends ! so i was driving up the canyon with my dad on the way to his house when i came across 3 dogs in the road , i got out of the car to see if they were friendly and to see if they had any collars or something to see where they came from. They had nothing , a man passed by me in a truck and i had asked him if he knew of anything since it looked like he lived in the canyon and he had no clue. Once i turned around 7-8 more dogs were behind me ! i couldn’t believe it ! i started sobbing because how could someone leave 12 dogs out and abandoned like this and i knew i needed to help them . We drove to my dads then went back down there on a bike and when i l got down there someone else was feeding them leftover food and also wanting to help . Me and this beautiful lady and my dad gathered the dogs and grabbed as many of the dogs that would let us in the back of the truck which was 6. We took them to my dads house because he has some land and room for them . We went back for the rest of them but they had moved probably scared to be taken . I heard them in the distance later in the night so i went on foot to go get them ! we were able to grab 1 of them but the rest still ran in fear. By the morning the rest of the dogs who ran were sitting in the backyard ! We got them all in the cage together now and they have all been together, safe , fed , and taken care of since ! i can’t take care of 12 dogs financially with my own money and if i need to keep them longer then expected i’d love to give the dogs a better place to stay , where they are now is okay but i want better for them !
