If you have taken a class with Professor Willi Goetschel or have seen him around campus, you probably know that he is one of the sweetest professors at UofT. Along with this, he obviously cares so much about helping his students and is very passionate about giving them a good education. The university usually does not reward professors like this, who are both kind and very into philosophy that academia really does not care about. Because of this, we as students want to give him a gift to show our appreciation for him. The gift in question would be a first edition copy of a book by Georg Simmel (his favorite!) to really show him how much we care. The book itself is $70 but shipping from Germany to Canada is $60. We know it's a lot to ask, but if everyone donates a little bit we'll have enough to buy him the book!
