Help Me Get a Car So I Can Get to Work

Hi everyone, my name is Pariline Lavin , and I’m reaching out with a humble request. I’m currently living in Fargo, North Dakota, and I’ve been here for 6 months now. Life has been really challenging because I haven’t been able to find work, not because I don’t want to—but because I don’t have a car.

Right now, only my boyfriend is working. He got his job through his uncle, who kindly drives him to and from work every day. We’re incredibly thankful for that help, but we’re still struggling to make ends meet.

We don’t have a car, so we can’t even go out for simple things like grocery shopping—we have to order everything online and have it delivered from Walmart. It’s hard living like this, especially when I want so badly to work and help with rent, bills, and groceries.

We’re not asking for a fancy or expensive car—just something reliable from Facebook Marketplace that can get us where we need to go. I just need a way to get to a job so I can start contributing and take some of the weight off my boyfriend’s shoulders.

Winter is coming, and if you know North Dakota winters, you know how harsh and unforgiving they can be. It’s really important for us to have a vehicle before the snow and freezing temps hit.

If you can help, even just a little, it would mean the world to us. We’re not asking for luxury—just a basic, working car to help us move forward in life.
