Wales is an ancient land of Saints, yet Orthodoxy here is still a rare light. We are raising £200,000 to secure a permanent Church for our parish in Cardiff. We are a warm and welcoming multi-national and multi-generational community of Orthodox Christians, united in a loving mission-minded parish of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR).

Our life and mission is rooted in our love for God, as we seek to actively share the Light of Christ, the message of the Gospel and sacred traditions of the Orthodox Church with those who may not yet know us.

Wales is an ancient Christian nation, hallowed by the holy men and women of the Age of Saints, exemplified by our great father, St David.

Faith once shaped every town and village, and leaves its enduring imprint in the names of our valleys and mountains.

Today, Wales is a land where Orthodoxy is still a rare light, but by supporting us, you will become part of renewing that light.

Many may ask why someone far from South Wales should invest in a church here, but this is not simply about bricks and mortar - this is about a rediscovery of the ancient ways of Faith in a land blessed by our ancient saints: a land of sacred poetry and prayer.
