Help Us Build the Mobile Break Out Space!

Hi!

My name is El and I am a neurodivergent (Autistic, ADHD and BPD) counsellor with a life long dream to make counselling and sensory spaces accessible to all!

6 months ago I finally started trading under my own business and private practice Deep Seas, providing counselling and therapeutic supports to neurodivergent and at risk individuals. But I've still felt that wasn't enough. I want to do more! I want to provide more!

Up until now, everything comes out of my own pocket, and as a small neurodivergent business owner, costs are really tight. And so I am asking the community for help!

My goal is to raise enough funds to purchase and build the first (hopefully of many) Break Out Space Van or BOS Van for short! My dream is for the BOS Van to be decked out with all the tools, tricks and tips to support one's sensory modulation and regulation so that no matter the event, we have a space to take a break and then get right back into it! Whether that's public events, shows, concerts, expos, weddings, parties, fairs and everything in between! So not only does this mean that all the fidget tools and regulation techniques are accessible to you, but we also have access to a REGISTERED COUNSELLOR to boot!

It's a big dream, I know. But as someone who spent their entire childhood and parts of their adulthood masking, I want to be able to give something back and hopefully create something for the community where a kid or adult sees the BOS Van and feels seen.. beyond the mask.

Because we all deserve to be seen, to be us and to feel safe in our environment and in ourselves!
