The Vision: A Permanent Home for Faith, Support, and Community Care

Dubbo Mosque is the only Islamic centre serving the growing Central West NSW Muslim population.

We’ve delivered over a decade of continuous community service — now we urgently need your support to expand.

️ Project Overview: $1.9 Million Goal

Stage 1: Prayer Hall Extension & Ablution Facilities — $400,000 AUD

• ✅ New wudu (ablution) area

• ✅ Dedicated women’s/men's prayer and multipurpose hall

• ✅ Accessible toilets and amenities

• ✅ Safety and space upgrades for all

Stage 2: Community Centre & Accommodation Block – $1,500,000 AUD

• ✅ Demolish old accommodation

• ✅ Construct floor-level community centre

• ✅ Build self-contained units for:

o Migrant families

o Terminally ill and sick individuals

o Travelling Jama’at

o Homeless people and students

❤️ Why This Project Matters

Our community is rapidly growing, and we are experiencing a critical shortage of space to deliver vital religious and community services.

NSWCWMA supports the Muslim and broader community through:

• Congregational prayers (Jummah, Eid, Taraweeh)

• Women’s and seniors’ programs

• Zakat and Sadaqah distribution

• Mental health and wellbeing initiatives

• Free funerals and bereavement support

• Refugee, migrant, and emergency housing

• Youth development, education, and community engagement

Yet, our current facilities cannot keep up with demand.

• Friday and Eid prayers overflow into outdoor areas

• Women and seniors lack access to safe, inclusive facilities

• There is an urgent need for a multi-use community centre, updated prayer areas, and emergency accommodation

This project addresses the immediate and long-term needs of a fast-growing regional Muslim population.

It will be a lifeline for Dubbo and Central West Muslims — offering spiritual sanctuary, social support, and a sense of belonging.
