Billericay Brewery is your local, independent taproom - built by the people who drink here.

For over a decade, we’ve brewed great beer, hosted live music and food events, and created a space where neighbours become regulars and regulars become friends. It’s a place for birthdays, catch‑ups, celebrations, and quiet midweek pints - and it means a lot to a lot of people.

The marquee that got us through Covid helped us survive - but it was never meant to be permanent.

Now, we’re asking our community to help us take the next step.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE PINTS

At the heart of Billericay Brewery are the people who make it what it is.

*Rick Coppack, our brewer, is the creative force behind every pint we pour. His beers have won multiple awards over the years, built on a focus on quality, balance, and consistency.

*Alex Watson manages the taproom day to day and curates our ever‑changing line-up of guest beers — helping create the welcoming, inclusive atmosphere people know and love.

*Danny Kingston (Food Urchin) leads the creative side of food, events, and marketing, bringing together great beer, great food, and shared experiences.

They’re supported by a brilliant wider team - plus an incredible group of volunteers made up of customers and former team members. It’s a true community‑supported business.

LOCAL FOOD, SHARED TABLES, AND GREAT NIGHTS

Food and events are a huge part of life at the brewery.

From our Oktoberfest celebrations - where long tables and shared plates turned the taproom into a proper communal feast - to regular supper clubs hosted by Seb Roberts, a Cordon Bleu‑trained chef and champion of local produce, the brewery has become a place where good beer and good food naturally come together.

Like many independent breweries, the last few years haven’t been easy.

The marquee that helped us through Covid was a lifeline - but now it’s time to create a space that truly reflects the warmth, creativity, and resilience of our community.

*The same friendly, inclusive atmosphere - just bigger and better

*More space for laughter, music, food, and memories, while keeping everything that makes the brewery feel like home.
