The 100 km road connecting Bosaso to Dhadar is a lifeline for tens of thousands of people—but today, it is neither paved nor passable. It runs through rocky terrain, steep mountains, and seasonal rivers, making travel dangerous and impossible during the rainy season.
Lives are being lost because hospital trips take up to 48 hours instead of 2 hours.
Food and goods are unaffordable due to broken vehicles and high transport costs.
Entire communities are cut off for months each year.
The community has already acted. With their own limited funds, they began clearing and leveling the ground. This shows commitment—but clearing is not enough.
Our first goal is $200,000, which will fund detailed engineering surveys and bridge design—the critical first step to unlocking the $35 million needed for full road construction.
This road means life, access, and opportunity.
Your donation—no matter the size—helps turn cleared land into a paved, life-saving road.
Please support the Dhadar Road project today.
