I have a dream of turning my 1.5-acre agricultural field into a secure, private haven for dogs—but I need your help to get the fencing up.
As many of you that know me , I am currently navigating some significant health challenges which have impacted my ability to fund the initial setup. On top of that, I am the proud owner of seven XL Bullies. Since the recent law changes, finding safe, legal, and private spaces for them to just "be dogs" has become nearly impossible.
I’ve already done the hard part: Planning Permission has been granted! Now, all that stands between these dogs and their freedom is 345 meters of secure fencing.
Why This Field Matters
This isn’t just a business; it’s a mission.
- For My Dogs: It gives my 7 XL Bullies a place to run free and safe.
- For The Community: It provides a 6ft-secure, "airlock" gated paddock for rescue dogs, reactive dogs, and other XL Bully owners who feel they have nowhere left to go.
- For Me: This field will allow me to create a sustainable income that works around my health, ensuring I can continue to care for my pack.
Where the Money Goes
Every penny raised goes directly into the infrastructure:
- High-Security Deer Fencing: 1.8m (6ft) tall around the entire 344m perimeter.
- Rabbit-Proof Skirting: To ensure no small dogs (or digging experts!) can get under.
- Double-Gate "Airlock" System: To ensure total safety during entry and exit.

The Vision: A Fortress for Freedom
We are building Ted & Lew’s Freedom Field, a 1.5-acre high-security sanctuary in Outwell. This isn't just a fenced-in field; it is a professional-grade facility designed for total peace of mind—especially for breeds that need that extra level of security and space.
The Specification:
To ensure 100% safety, we are installing:
6ft Pressure-Treated Posts: Deep-set for maximum stability.
Triple-Rail Timber: Agricultural-grade strength to prevent any leaning or warping.
High-Tensile Wire Mesh: Heavy-duty "Tornado" style mesh to secure the full 6ft height.
Security Entry: A 12ft heavy-duty field gate with a double-locking safety system.
The Cost Breakdown:
The perimeter is exactly 344 meters. To build to this high standard, the cost is £50 per meter (including materials and professional installation).
Phase 1 Goal: £1,600 (Secures the main entrance, the heavy-duty gate, and the first 25 meters).
Full Project Target: £17,780.
We are building this one meter at a time. Every £50 donation literally buys a meter of safety. Every £5 helps us get a bit closer to the next post.
