Hello, my name is Aixel Alonso, and I am part of a small group called The Nobodies.
We are called The Nobodies because we don’t have big sponsors, large grants, or corporate backing. We are ordinary people who saw a problem and refused to look away. We create art, sell what we can, and put every dollar toward helping the cats that have been abandoned, forgotten, or left to survive on their own.
Right now, the cats we care for are in danger.
Predators have been killing them.
These cats are not feral by choice. Many were once someone’s pet. Some were born outside with no protection at all. They rely on us for food, basic care, and safety—but without proper shelter, we are losing them to threats we cannot fight with food alone.
That is why we are raising money.
This fundraiser is to build and purchase secure structures that will protect these cats from predators, weather, and ongoing harm. Safe buildings mean warm shelter in winter, shade in summer, and—most importantly—survival. It means fewer deaths. It means dignity for lives that are so often treated as disposable.
Every contribution goes directly toward materials, buildings, and supplies to create protected spaces where these cats can live without constant fear.
We may be nobodies in name, but to these cats, we are everything.
If you choose to donate, share, or support us in any way, you are helping save lives that would otherwise be lost quietly and unseen.
Thank you for standing with The Nobodies—
Aixel Alonso
