In June 2021, we started FurKids with one mission: to save, heal, and rehome Qatar’s abandoned dogs. With no animal welfare laws, no official shelter, and no protection for strays, our rescues face horrific abuse—dogs are shot, hit by cars, dumped in the desert, or left to starve.
Yet, despite all odds, we have rehomed over 300 dogs—without a physical shelter, relying only on boarding and fosters. Today, we have 52 dogs under our care, but space is always a struggle. This new home will allow us to care for up to 150 dogs at a time—tripling our impact!
Not Just a Shelter—A Joyful Sanctuary
We refuse to build a cold, lifeless kennel. Instead, we dream of a happy rescue home where dogs and people thrive together:

We couldn’t wait for our association’s approval (which could take years), so we rented the space! Now, we need your support to make it a reality:
Monthly Costs: Over 50,000 QAR (rent, food, workers, utilities)
Renovation Needs: Over 250,000 QAR (roof repairs, ventilation, fencing, drainage, electrical work, play areas,AC..etc)
