Hi, I'm Sarah — a children’s trauma therapist who has spent the past several years walking alongside youth and families through some of their most difficult moments. I’ve witnessed firsthand the deep need for safe, healing spaces when a child can no longer remain in their home — and I’ve dreamed of creating something different.
For those who don’t already know: next month, I’m launching Solstead, a one-of-a-kind Residential Treatment Center (RTC) for youth and teens. Solstead is more than just a program — it’s a place where young people can arrive broken and leave stronger, rooted in growth, trust, and connection.
We’ve secured a beautiful almost 2-acre property where Solstead will begin — a space surrounded by nature, ready to be transformed into a sanctuary of healing. The goal is to clear the land and build a barn to house therapy animals, which will play a key role in the program’s nature-based therapeutic model.
But we can’t do it alone.
Clearing the land and building out the barn will cost several thousands of dollars, and I’m reaching out to my community — friends, family, and anyone who believes in building a better future for youth — to help bring Solstead to life.
Every donation, no matter the amount, is a seed planted in the soil of healing. You're not just funding a building — you're helping create a refuge for kids who desperately need a place to feel safe, loved, and understood.
Thank you for believing in this vision. Thank you for helping us grow Solstead.
