Help us build our sanctuary and save the owls

Hello my names Joseph the founder of helping hand corvid rescue, we have some news but we need your help!!!

We are moving and are now building our sanctuary in a beautiful secluded spot in St Asaph, we will hopefully be registered as a charity but this takes time.

We are now not only taking in corvids that require our immediate help but birds of prey and even some domestic birds and livestock.

we have been approached twice already by two individuals who have both sadly lost their husbands leaving their collections of owls and hawks without a home and despite our best efforts to rehome them individually this has not been possible due to the birds age or paperwork issues, this has meant that the second lot of owls (7 birds) are due to be put to sleep though no fault of their own unless we can house them ASAP. we need help to fund our enclosures so that we can offer these beautiful birds a second chance, we have estimated that this will cost £2000, a small price to pay for a ife time of second chances.

We have acquired just over 4 acres of land that we have been working hard to clean up and start the ball rolling as you may have seen already we have recently worked with idle wild animal sanctuary who are facing issues themselves with funding their sanctuary, we took on some chickens and teddy the turkey who are now part of our family and we have recently been able to offer a forever home to a little goat we have called Sydney, we have an onsite volunteer who works day in and day out to ensure that our animals are getting the best care but our efforts have so far been self funded.
