Rural Teaching Organisation Cambodia (RTOC) is a free English school in a small rural village near Siem Reap, Cambodia, founded by an inspiring couple, Poeuy and Samon. After learning English through their work in hospitality in their early 20's, they returned to their village to share their knowledge and empower the next generation. Using every cent they had, they built their first classroom in 2012. Today, the school still relies entirely on volunteers and donations to keep running.

RTOC has grown to include 3 (and almost 4) classrooms, providing free English lessons to over 200 children. They also employ two full-time teachers and share their teaching expertise with surrounding schools. But their efforts don’t stop there! Over the years, they’ve supported their community with:

Home water filters for families.

Livestock like cows and chickens for sustainable living.

Housing and medical supplies.

Food for those in need.

The kindness and selflessness of Poeuy and his family is so admirable and we would love to see this school grow and thrive to help better the lives of as many children as possible!

Since our current classrooms were built quite a while ago, the wooden structures grow mould and attract lots of ants that infest the classrooms. The ceilings have large gaping holes and are falling down onto the children during lessons. We want to make these repairs to ensure the health of the children is not compromised. But, we need YOUR help to fund this big project!!
