Crystal and I have always believed that marriage is something sacred — a gift from God and a promise made not only to each other, but before Him. God is faithful, and He is a true provider. After leaving the Army, the Lord led me to Salinas, California, where I joined the Police Department. The Lord introduced us together at a young adult group at Encounter Church. That’s where I met Crystal, the woman I had been praying for. From the very beginning, we knew we wanted our wedding to be simple, intimate, and genuine. No distractions, no pressure — just the two of us standing together in a lifelong covenant, with the Lord guiding every step.

Crystal creates meaningful YouTube content, traveling to record and share the testimonies of survivors of trafficking, using her platform to give voice to those who have been silenced. Her passion and heart for others inspires me.

In October I graduated the police academy and now I’m patrolling the streets of Salinas. I’m planting seeds everywhere I go on patrol, and calling men to a higher standard.

Our decision to elope comes from a place of peace and faith. We want to experience our wedding in the purest way possible — centered on God’s presence, our love, and the new season He is preparing for us. While we’re keeping things simple, there are still a few expenses along the way. We are currently finishing the inside of our home and planning a small honeymoon, and we are humbly asking for support from those who believe in us and our journey.
