Hi! We are a small group of 22 homeschool learners and parents who believe that the best learning happens when we work together, create, and explore.
This year, we started our homeschooling project based on project-based learning, where every subject connects to real experiences and teamwork. One of our biggest community goals is to create a music studio and practice space — a place where learners can discover music, learn instruments, study music theory, and play together.
Music brings people together — it teaches focus, patience, listening, and joy. Our learners are just beginning their musical journeys, and this studio will give them the opportunity to explore instruments, understand sound, and build confidence through shared learning.
This project is not only for the learners, but also for the whole community. Parents and mentors are helping with renovation, setup, and guidance, while the learners take part in planning, organizing, and learning each step of the way.
Together, we want to build something lasting — a place that belongs to all of us.
A Personal Note from Our Team
Hi, my name is Illy, and I’m one of the learners in our home schooling community. I’m leading this project together with Lucas a co learner and Sharon, who is one of our mentors. I’ve been a musician for about seven years, and music has always been a big part of my life.
This project is especially meaningful to me because it gives me the chance to share what I’ve learned with the young learners, learn new things alongside the other learners, and make music together as a community. We’re excited to create a space where everyone can explore their musical abilities, practice together, and grow through learning and collaboration.
Hi, my name is Lucas, and I’m one of the learners in our home schooling community. I’m working on this project together with Illy and our mentor Sharon. Music has been a big part of my life, and it’s something I want to keep growing with. My dream is to become an artist and to mix and create my own album. This project is a chance for me to learn more about music, work with others, and start doing what I really love.
Hi, my name is Sharon, and I’m a mentor in our home schooling community. I’m supporting Illy and Lucas as they begin this project and take their first steps toward creating a space for music and collaboration. We’re still in the early stages — preparing the space and setting up the crowdfunding — but I’m excited to see how their ideas and enthusiasm will grow as we move forward.
We believe music is a important part of our learning journey!

Why This Matters
This studio will be a community space for creativity and learning. It’s where learners will come to:
Explore music theory and rhythm
Learn to play different instruments
Practice together in groups
Understand sound and how music is created
Build confidence through shared experiences
Parents, mentors, and learners are all part of this process — from setting up the space to guiding practice sessions. It’s a true community effort, where every contribution helps shape a space full of learning and creativity.
