2/3/25 update:
Between your Gofundme donations, and your venmo donations, we've reached our goal!! We ended up raising $3290 for Erika's table ❤️ We will post updates on Facebook and Instagram @Oldmountainwoodworking if you'd like to follow along.
We are incredibly grateful to each and every one of you for your support in helping us reach our goal. Thanks to your generosity, we now have the materials needed to build a beautiful table that will serve as a lasting tribute to Erika—a place where her family and friends can come together, share memories, and celebrate her life. We can’t wait to see this project come to life and for it to be a gathering place filled with love and reflection. Thank you for being a part of this meaningful journey.
Update:
We're thrilled to announce that we're almost at our goal! We still need a bit more to reach our target, but with your continued support, we know we can get there. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated and shared.
If you haven't already, please consider donating what you can and sharing this campaign with your friends and family who may be able to help us build Erika's dream dining table. Every little bit counts, and your shares can help spread the word and bring in more support.
Thank you again!!
Dear Friends,
As many of you know, the first anniversary of Erika Thomaselli's passing is tomorrow, January 30th. Erika was loved fiercely and is missed terribly by her husband, children, family, and friends. Erika, a cherished teacher in the Beacon City School District, brought joy and inspiration to countless young lives.
After Erika's passing, I learned she wanted to contact me about having a custom dining table built for her and her family.
During this difficult time, I want to offer my support by building a custom dining table for the Thomaselli family. I am committed to dedicating my time and labor to this project at no charge, as a small way of giving back to a family who has given so much to our community.
Erika cherished family gatherings around the table, and I believe this project will be a meaningful way to honor her memory and provide a lasting symbol of love and support for Anthony and their children.
To ensure the table is built to their specific needs and reflects their unique style, I am seeking donations to cover the cost of high-quality materials. Our goal is to raise $3,250 to bring this project to life.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your generosity and support.
Sincerely,
Bryan Ortquist
