Bulldogg Studios will be opening its doors in January 2021 with the first class of students. It will be more than a class - it will be the training for your future workforce.
Our vision is to create a professional recording studio with current hardware, software, and instruments that will provide students with the skills necessary to be successful in the growing Music Technology job market.
We are looking for partners to help us create Bulldogg Studios at WBHS. Due to limited school funding that is available, we are seeking the support of donors to help us buy the equipment necessary to give our students the best possible learning experience.
Although the number is quite large, any and all help is much appreciated, even small donations will help us acquire more gear, create more student stations, and acoustically treat and soundproof the classroom.
We have some incredible students here at Winder-Barrow High School, and they deserve to have a world class experience as they Record and Produce at Bulldogg Studios.
$170,000 is a very large amount, but be assured that every little bit helps! Here is a breakdown of a few items on our list that you are helping us purchase:
$20 - Average cost of a quality instrument and microphone cable
$30 - Average cost of a microphone stand
$120 - Acoustic guitar for student use in our Beginner Guitar Class
$150 - Electric guitar or bass effect pedal
$300 - Average cost of a microphone
$400 - Electric guitar or Bass for student use in our Rock Band class
$1000 - Drum set for use in our Rock Band class
$1200 - Studio grade Electric Guitar or Bass
$1500 - Studio grade amplifier
$3000 - Studio grade drum set
$3200 - Cost of one student station consisting of an iMac, audio interface, recording software, and headphones (a full class would have 24)
