Help us build back Robby and Kim's beloved campground

On September 25th at 1:00am, Robby and Kim Loven began to evacuate their home and all of the 100+ families in their campground beside the Linville River in Pineola, NC. Rain had already been falling in the area before Hurricane Helene’s arrival, and the river had already flooded out of its banks with over 10 inches of water. No one was ready for the 15 more inches that would fall over the next 36 hours. Hurricane Helene arrived and roared through Down By the River Campground. This campground has been in Robby’s family for over 40 years, and he is the third generation owner/manager. He and Kim lost everything in their house/office along with the grounds of the campground being nearly destroyed. Every RV on the property was damaged and most completely totaled by water, mud, and debris. Robby and Kim need our help to put their lives and business back together. This will be a huge and costly undertaking. Thank you to everyone for your support and love,
