We are a dedicated group of local parents who have witnessed the transformative power of Steiner education. Our children, currently thriving in Steiner primary schools on the Mornington Peninsula, return home each day full of imagination, confidence, and a deep connection to themselves and the world.
But as they grow, a pressing gap becomes clear:
there is no Steiner secondary school on the Mornington Peninsula.
We believe this should not be the end of their Steiner journey.

✨ Our Vision
We are working to establish the Mornington Peninsula Steiner School — the region’s first independent Steiner secondary school, offering a nurturing and values-based education for adolescence.
This won’t be just a school. It will be a sanctuary for creativity, purpose, and resilience. A place where teenagers can grow into grounded, capable young adults — led by Steiner philosophy, the arts, connection to nature, and a sense of belonging.
We aim to open in 2027 with Years 7 and 8, expanding gradually each year. Conversations with passionate Steiner teachers are already underway, our curriculum is in development, and community interest is growing rapidly.

How You Can Help
There are three meaningful ways to support this vision financially:
1. Invest in the School’s Foundation
• All investments are made directly to us with a signed agreement in place.

2. Prepay Your Child’s Tuition
Families can contribute by prepaying tuition for 2027.
• Tuition is $4,500 per student for our first year.
• This helps the school secure vital early funding.
• If the school does not open, your tuition will be fully refunded.
PLEASE NOTE: a range of criteria are assessed through an interview/application process. If your application is not successful or there is a change of mind, your contribution will be treated as an investment and funds returned. Investment does not guarantee a place.
3. Make a Donation
Whether it’s $20 or $2,000, every gift matters.
To help us avoid third-party platform fees, direct donations are preferred. Please email us for banking details.

Our Roadmap
• We are preparing to submit our application to the VRQA by June 30, 2025.
• If approval for 2026 is delayed, we will open in 2027 — we are fully committed to making this school a reality.
• We are working with an exceptional team of educators and professionals who have successfully opened independent schools before.
• We are also supported by Steiner Education Australia, who are guiding us through the process.
We currently meet every Monday, and we’re happy to provide regular updates to investors and supporters outlining our progress, plans, and communications from VRQA.
