We are raising £10,000 to help Nu Me Foundation move from a self-funded vision into a charity delivering practical, meaningful support to women experiencing domestic abuse.

Domestic abuse remains significantly underreported in the UK, with thousands of women suffering in silence. And the suffering doesn't always end when a woman decides she needs to leave.

For many women, that decision is only the beginning.

There can be financial barriers, housing concerns, employment challenges, legal issues, fear, isolation and the overwhelming question:

"What do I do next?"

Nu Me Foundation exists to help bridge that gap.

We want to help women, particularly working women who may not always qualify for or feel able to access traditional support, develop a SAFE EXIT from abusive situations, while also supporting them through the journey that follows.

Why Nu Me Foundation exists

Nu Me Foundation is a survivor-led non-profit organisation working to support women experiencing domestic abuse to move towards safety, independence and a future they can rebuild on their own terms.

Our vision is simple:

To help women move from surviving to rebuilding.

We want to provide practical empowerment and education, help women understand their options, connect them with appropriate professional support and work with businesses and organisations to create better systems of support for women affected by domestic abuse.

We aim to work alongside employers, legal professionals, housing providers, educational institutions and other organisations to help women access the support they need without having to leave their communities, careers or support networks unnecessarily

So far, Nu Me Foundation has been entirely self-funded, because we believe strongly that this work is needed.

Will help fund our marketing and outreach campaign at the UK Black Business Show at ExCeL London on 17 October 2026.
