My wife and I are foster parents for a local dog rescue, and we routinely open our home to pregnant dogs and their soon-to-be-born puppies. We care for the moms through birth and then foster both the mom and her pups until they are weaned and ready for adoption. Often, we have four to eight puppies plus their mom at a time, and while we manage, the space in our home is small and difficult to work with. Despite these challenges, we are committed to giving these dogs the best possible start in life.

We want to take our fostering to the next level by getting a shed that we can fully insulate and equip with a mini split for air conditioning and heat. This dedicated space will allow us to foster more dogs, more often, and provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for the moms and their puppies. With this shed, we can make a bigger impact and help even more dogs in need.

There is a massive problem with dogs needing rescue from abusive homes, puppy mills, and abandonment. While we know we can't save them all, we are compelled to do everything we can.
