About the Historic Project

Muslim federation of NJ is a registered 501(c)3 non profit organization, Tax-ID: 222794298, that is building the Largest Islamic Center in Jersey City.

We first acquired the property at 530 Montgomery in 2000 and over the past 20 years we have been blessed to see our Muslim community grow and prosper. Our old building was falling apart structurally and was proven to be too small to fulfill the needs of our growing and vibrant community. A typical gathering resulted in a full house with lines out the door as you can see in the photo attached.

Alhamdulillah, the 17,000 sq ft Islamic Center will be located at 530 Montgomery St, Jersey City, NJ 07302 and will be accessible to over 30,000 Muslims in Jersey City and over 1 Million in the surrounding areas.

We have been supporting many families in the Jersey City/NYC area by delivering groceries to those in need, counseling families with losses and delivering financial help to those zakat eligible.
