Hello, my name is Ian Chikaviro, and I’m starting Care on Call Healthcare Ltd, a new home care agency here in Hertfordshire. My dream is simple but powerful: to provide compassionate, person-centred care that helps local people live safely and independently in their own homes.

This journey is very close to my heart. I was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, I lost my mum to a heart attack, and I am raising children with ADHD and severe autism. I know first-hand how difficult it is when families can’t find the right support, and how much difference the right care can make. For years I’ve worked as a carer, supporting people with dementia, learning disabilities, and complex health needs, and those experiences have given me the determination to build a service that puts dignity, kindness, and safety first.

To get Care on Call Healthcare set up in Hertfordshire, I need help covering the start-up costs:

CQC Registration – £1,100 (required to provide home care)

Insurance – £1,200 (to keep clients, carers, and the community safe)

Recruitment & Training – £1,200 (DBS checks and specialist care training)

Office Lease – £4,000 (a safe and professional base here in Hertfordshire)

Marketing & Outreach – £500 (so local families know we’re here to help)
