ኆኅተ ምሥራቅ ኪዳነ ምሕረት የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ ቤተክርስቲያን በHyattsville ፣ Maryland ላለፉት አስራ አምስት ዓመታት ለዲሲ እና አካባቢው ምእመናን አገልግሎት በመስጠት ፣ የኦርቶዶክስ እምነትን በማስጠበቅ ፣ ትውልድን በክርስቲያናዊ ስነ ምግባር በማነጽ ለኦርቶዶክሳውያን መጠጊያ ሆና ቆይታለች። ነገር ግን የምእመናን ቁጥር ከጊዜ ወደ ጊዜ እየጨመረ እና አገልግሎቱ እየተስፋፋ ሲሄድ ፣ በቂ የመገልገያ ቦታ እንዲሁም የመኪና ማቆሚያ አስፈላጊ ሆኗል።

በምዕመናን ርብርብ እና በእግዚአብሔር ቸርነት ፣ ለዋሽንግተን ዲሲ አካባቢና ለሰፊው የኦርቶዶክስ ማኅበረሰብ ጭምር የሚያገለግል ትልቅ ንብረት ገዝተናል። ይህ ቦታ የተሟላ መንፈሳዊ ማዕከል ሆኖ፦

• ሰፊው የኦርቶዶክስ ማኅበረሰብ በአንድነት የሚያመልክበትና የሚገለገልበት

• ሕፃናትና ወጣቶች በኦርቶዶክስ እምነትና ሥነ-ምግባር ታንጸው የሚያድጉበት

• ኦርቶዶክሳውያን ለጸሎት ፣ በአንድነትና በወንድማማችነት የሚሰበሰቡበት

• አባቶች ለተተኪው ትውልድ የኢትዮጵያውያን የቤተ ክርስቲያን አስተምህሮን ፣ ጥበብን እንዲሁም ፣ መንፈሳዊ ርስትን የሚያስተላልፉበት ይሆናል።

ምንም እንኳን ንብረቱ የተገዛ ቢሆንም ፣ ይህን ቦታ የቅድስት ቤተክርስቲያንን ስርዓትና ደንብ በተከተለ መልኩ ለአምልኮ አገልግሎት እንዲዉል የቤተመቅደስ ግንባታ ፣ ለተለያዩ ጥቅሞች የሚውሉ የመሰብሰቢያ አዳራሾች ፣ ቢሮዎች ፣ መዋዕለ ሕጻናት እና ትምህርት ቤት ገንብተን ለአገልግሎት ለማዋል ድጋፋችሁን እንፈልጋለን።

እያንዳንዱ ስጦታ ለልጆቻችን ፣ ለቤተሰቦቻችን እና ለማኅበረሰባችን እንዲሁም ለትውልድ ፍሬ የሚያፈራ በእምነት የተተከለ ዘር ነውና የአቅማችሁን እንድታበረክቱ በፍቅር እንጠይቃለን።

Hohte Misrak Kidane Mihret Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church in Hyattsville, Maryland has long served as a spiritual home for the faithful, preserving Orthodox faith, honoring Ethiopian heritage, and nurturing generations in the teachings of the Holy Orthodox Church. As our congregation continues to grow, the need for a permanent spiritual home has become increasingly clear.

By God’s grace, we have been blessed to purchase a large property that will serve the Washington, DC metropolitan area and the wider Orthodox Christian community. This sacred space will become a comprehensive spiritual campus where:

• The broader Orthodox community worships, serves, and grows together

• Families gather in prayer, unity, and fellowship

• Fathers pass down tradition, wisdom, and spiritual heritage

• Children and youth are raised in Orthodox faith and values

While the property is secured, we now seek your support to develop it into a true house of God, a church, fellowship halls, and community spaces that will serve both present and future generations.
