Our mission team is made up of college-age volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of families in Guatemala. We have seen firsthand how hardworking the Guatemalan people are, but many face significant challenges when it comes to affording a safe and stable home. Too often, families are forced to live in multigenerational households or under sheets of metal, using makeshift shelters that offer little protection from the elements.

This year, we are traveling to Guatemala with the goal of building a cinder block home and a stove for a family in need. The funds we raise will go directly toward purchasing building materials and constructing a sturdy house with a roof, as well as a cinder block stove inside the home. By providing these essentials, we hope to offer a family not just shelter, but a foundation for a better future.
