Help Us Build a Home for Orphans in Gambia

Last year, at the start of Ramadan, five friends embarked on a journey to Gambia as part of a Ramadan food distribution deployment. Our mission was simple yet profound: to provide packages of necessities to the most vulnerable families, ensuring they had enough to sustain them throughout the holy month.

During our trip, we visited orphanages in both urban centers and remote villages. The conditions we encountered were heartbreaking. Gambia, one of the poorest nations in Africa, struggles to provide even the most basic needs for many of its children. Witnessing these realities firsthand deeply moved us and inspired us to take action.

Upon returning to England, we couldn’t shake the memories of what we had seen. Together, we decided to embark on a life-changing mission: to build an orphanage that could provide a safe, nurturing, and adequate home for these children.

We reached out to local authorities in Gambia and were generously granted a piece of land in a rural, impoverished district. With the help of architects and building contractors, we began designing and constructing an orphanage that would serve as a beacon of hope for vulnerable children.

Thanks to your support so far, we’ve made significant progress. The project has reached the outer wall stage, but we need your help to take it further. Additional funding is essential to complete the construction and bring our vision to life.
