We’re Jayson and Jennifer, co-founders of Caliber Exotic Supply, a small, family run exotic animal rescue in Cambridge, Ontario.

What started as a passion has become a responsibility we can’t walk away from.

Every single week, we receive messages about reptiles and small animals that are abandoned, neglected, seized, or surrendered because their owners have run out of options. And every week, we face the same gut wrenching reality, turning animals away because we’ve hit our limit.

That decision never gets easier.

Right now, we are operating out of our home. We are already working alongside the KW, Cambridge, and Guelph Humane Societies, stepping in when traditional shelters cannot help. But without a dedicated facility, our reach is capped, and animals who need help are left with nowhere to go.

We don’t want to keep saying no.

Our goal is to build a larger, fully equipped rescue and rehabilitation center, a clean, temperature controlled, purpose built space where exotic animals can be stabilized, treated, and given the dignity they deserve.

Your donation directly helps us:

Build proper, species appropriate enclosures for animals in recovery

Establish quarantine and medical areas to safely intake and treat new rescues

Upgrade lighting, heating, and ventilation to maintain consistent, healthy environments

Provide food, enrichment, and veterinary care for animals that would otherwise be overlooked

We’ve already invested our time, our savings, and our hearts into this mission. We’re doing the work. What we lack is space.

Across Ontario, exotic animals are falling through the cracks. Many are euthanized not because they are beyond help, but because there is nowhere equipped to take them. This project changes that outcome.
