To all of my friends, clients, dance family, and red-blooded Americans,

 

I write to you today to ask for your help in making my dream come true.

As you all know, It has been my life’s work to teach, promote, and keep Country Dance and other styles alive. As much as I have a passion for dance, I have an even greater passion for teaching others to do it. I believe it is the greatest activity on earth for mind, body, and soul.

I have embarked on a mission to create the best place to do just that in Houston, TX.

 

In just 30 days I’ve laid a lot of the groundwork to make this dream a reality.

I’ve hired a nightclub and restaurant consultant and an attorney, I found the location that I want, I’ve negotiated a fair lease, I’ve filed papers for incorporation, I have subscription agreements at the ready, I have an architect working on the plans, I’ve gotten bids on the buildout, and I’ve done 100s of hours of research on top of being in the industry for 33 years.

 

What I need is a leg up, and for that, I will forever be grateful and I will never forget those who believe in me. Many of you who are reading this have witnessed my journey through dance and the nightclub/entertainment business and you’ve watched as the Club owners not appreciate those of us who keep the doors open.

 

From the literal thousands of hours of FREE dance lessons that we’ve provided over 30+ years, the over 500 FREE youtube videos on our channel, to promotions, concepts, and contests that we’ve produced, to programming music, training djs and other dance instructors, training people to be regular customers, and FREE marketing that we’ve provided for our local clubs, we’ve been doing our part to keep Country dancing alive.

 

This is one of those times that I could say, if I had $1.00 for every time somebody told me to open my own place, I’d have already done so.

 

This is where I need your help and the help of any red blooded Americans that want to help us keep a truly American tradition alive. Country Music and Country Dancing are as American as it gets.

 

Whiskey Taco Foxtrot will be the premier Country Western Nightclub in Houston, TX, the largest Country City in America.

 

With FREE dance lessons, the best dang Country music playing at all times, Dance Teams, and Dance shows every Friday and Saturday night, we don’t just expect people to come because we’re open, we expect them to come because they’re entertained.

 

I’m asking for $200k in seed money from all of you wonderful people out there for upfront costs associated with getting this off the ground.
