"Thin Air" is a SCAD Thesis directed by Gabe Gorsuch.

Longline: "In the distant future, an escape pod technician gets jettisoned from the mothership where she must come to terms with her inevitable fate."

It is a sci-fi drama following an escape pod technician, who, after trapping herself and drifting through space, must come to terms with her quickly approaching fate.

"The production design was an aspect that I wanted to emphasize. I wrote the story with concept of putting as much detail into one set as possible. I wanted to recreate the visual style of classic sci-fi movies of the 70s and 80s like Alien, Star Wars, and 2001, a Space Odyssey. We achieved this with both the methods of fabrication of miniatures and sets, as well as our shooting techniques."
