# Help Us Bring The Brynffynon Back to Life

In September 2026, we received the devastating news that The Brynffynon could no longer continue trading due to our sewage treatment plant being too small to cope with the pub’s maximum capacity. Sadly, we had no option but to close our doors.

For us, and for so many people who have supported The Brynffynon over the years, this was heartbreaking. The Brynffynon is so much more than just a business. It’s a place where people come together, make memories, celebrate special occasions, enjoy good food and drink, and feel part of a community.

But we haven’t given up!

After weeks of uncertainty, hard work and refusing to lose hope, we have finally turned a corner. We have now been given the go ahead to reopen for **3–4 days a week, over long weekends, provided we empty the sewage treatment plant every week.

Although this isn’t an ideal long-term solution and comes with additional costs, it gives us a chance to get back on our feet, welcome everyone through our doors again, and start working towards a permanent solution.

Our goal is to reopen The Brynffynon as soon as possible while saving money and reaching out for funding to help us overcome this challenge.
