Help Us Bring Sight to Malawi!

Restoring Sight, Restoring Opportunity
For many people in Malawi, the ability to see clearly is not just a matter of convenience- it is the key to education, independence, and survival. However, access to eye care remains out of reach for thousands, leaving them to navigate life with blurred vision.
A child unable to see the blackboard may fall behind in school. An adult struggling to read may lose their ability to work and provide for their family. An elder with failing vision may become dependent on others for even the simplest daily tasks.
These are not just challenges; they are life-altering barriers.
But they don’t have to be.
Our Mission
We are a team of optometry students from the University of Waterloo, alongside dedicated doctors, traveling with VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity) in April 2025 to provide free eye exams and glasses to communities in need. For many, this will be their first-ever eye exam.
How Your Support Helps
We are raising funds exclusively to provide glasses for patients in Malawi. Every dollar donated will go directly toward purchasing and distributing glasses. None of these funds will be used for our personal travel expenses.
The Impact of Your Donation
Clear vision is more than just sight; it is the ability to read, to work, to connect with loved ones, and to move through life with confidence. Your generosity can help ensure that people receive the gift of sight, allowing them to pursue education, maintain employment, and regain independence.
Please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser. Together, we can bring the gift of clear vision to those who need it most.
Thank you for your support.
