With heavy hearts, we share the devastating news of the passing of our beloved friend, Sherif, while he was in Brazil. His loss has left a void that words can hardly capture. He was more than a friend—he was a son, a father, and a soul who touched so many lives with kindness, laughter, and love.

In this moment of grief, we face the difficult and urgent task of bringing him back home, so he can rest in peace surrounded by the love of family and friends. Repatriation costs are extremely high, and on top of that, we hope to also bring his beloved daughter here, so she can be close to her father’s resting place and feel the embrace of the community that loved him so deeply.
