Ireland is having conversations about diversity, equity, inclusion, acceptance and belonging — but too often they’re safe, surface-level, or happening without the people most affected in the room.

The DEeP Table was created to change that.

The DEeP Table is a public conversation series that brings together lived experience, policy insight, community wisdom, and professional expertise — at the same table. It is a space for honesty, complexity, and learning without defensiveness.

After a powerful first season, we’re now building Series 2 — a 24-episode programme, delivered across four themed series, each made up of six carefully curated episodes.

Why The DEeP Table Matters

This campaign supports a community-led public education series focused on equity, inclusion, and lived experience in Ireland.

The DEeP Table creates space for conversations that:

• centre marginalised and racialised voices

• move beyond buzzwords to real understanding

• challenge myths, silences, and denial

• support organisations and communities to do better

• build collective responsibility, not individual blame

The DEeP Table is fundamentally about:

• public learning and critical dialogue

• informal education outside classrooms

• knowledge-sharing across lived experience, policy, and practice

• building understanding around race, equity, power, acceptance and belonging

These are not panel discussions for applause — they are facilitated, reflective, and impact-focused conversations that people carry back into their workplaces, classrooms, communities, and institutions.

What We’re Raising Funds For

Each DEeP Table episode costs €1,600 to produce.

This covers:

• Venue hire, accessibility supports, refreshments,

• Technical production (audio, visuals, recording, live streaming, video edits, hybrid format)

• Speaker facilitation and care

• Promotion and community outreach

• Documentation and learning resources

For 24 episodes, the total cost is €38,500.

This funding ensures the series remains accessible, ethical, and rooted in community, rather than driven by corporate agendas or pay-to-play participation.
